Prevent dental disease and tooth loss

Dental care is an essential part of your pet's overall health — just as important as their annual exam. Left unaddressed, dental disease doesn't stay in the mouth: it can affect the whole body and eventually lead to tooth loss.

Most dental disease is found during an exam, not by pet owners at home, and it can range from mild tartar to advanced periodontal disease by the time it's caught. That's why we build dental care into the visits you're already coming in for.

  • Full-mouth X-rays — every patient gets full-mouth digital dental X-rays, the same standard your own dentist holds you to, so we can see disease above and below the gumline, not just what's visible.
  • More than cosmetic — treating dental disease prevents infection and pain, and protects organs like the heart and kidneys from the bacteria a diseased mouth can send into the bloodstream.
  • Preventive care at home — brushing, dental treats, and the right diet go a long way between visits. How often your pet needs a professional cleaning depends on their breed, age, and genetics — we'll help you figure out the right schedule.
