Caring doesn't stop at our front door
Every pet that comes through our doors reminds us how much the human-animal bond matters - not just to the families we see every day, but to the wider community around us. That's why for every beloved pet that is euthanized, Foxmoor Animal Hospital makes a donation to The Fetch Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to saving and changing lives in the animal and human communities. It's a small way we can extend the care we practice here to dogs, first responders, and veterans we'll never personally meet.
The FIDO BAG® Program
When a house fire or accident puts a family pet in danger, the first responders on scene often have gear built for people, not animals. The FIDO BAG® equips fire departments, police K-9 units, and search-and-rescue teams with life-saving tools sized and designed for pets - so the same urgency and skill given to a person in an emergency can be given to their dog or cat too. The Fetch Foundation's goal is to place a FIDO BAG® in every fire station in the country.
Homeless 2 Hero
Not every dog gets a fair shot. Homeless 2 Hero identifies rescued dogs with the temperament and drive to serve, then partners with shelters, rescues, and veteran agencies to train them as service, therapy, and search-and-rescue dogs - matching them with veterans and first responders who need a working partner. A dog who might otherwise have run out of options ends up giving someone else a second chance too.
